Dance Group

Since its founding in 1975 at the SS Peter and Paul Macedonian Orthodox Church, the folklore group "Kitka" has seen several generations of talented young people pass through its ranks. The group has actively represented Macedonian folklore and culture with performances throughout the U.S. and in Canada. Delighted audiences have included the late Archbishop Mihail and then-President of Macedonia, Kiro Gligorov. In 1998, the group toured in Macedonia as guests of folk festival "Ilindenski Denovi"-Bitola 98. Its director is Boris Iliveski. The instructors and choreographers are John and Galia Kuo.
