Who needs to read this?
All Webmasters of the Macedonian Orthodox Churches web sites, all of those who want to start new web sites, all of those who want to write about the history and the present day events in the Macedonian Orthodox Church, all Macedonian monks, priests and archpriests.

Why MON?
Because we don't have it!
We don't have a place or a way for all of us to be together, working on the same idea and for the same cause: Presenting, preserving, informing about our Religion and all the treasures we have. Macedonian Orthodox Church is alive entity, but the information about it are known to very few people.
Let's face it: The World doesn't know about us.
These are hard times for the Church. We need to do something about it. Presently the Internet media is accessible from anywhere on the planet, any time. Until now, we haven't taken advantage of this fact. We do have many web sites presenting different Macedonian Churches throughout the world. But take a closer look: They are all dead web sites. Last updated many months or years ago. Using same written materials and images. Over and over again. Or not! Try to find some information on the Internet about some of our Archbishops. You will find none. Even on the official web site of the Macedonian Orthodox Church.
Our narrowness and informational isolation, keep us from successful work in presenting the truth about Macedonian history to the world. Don't you feel that is time to change that?
There is the answer why MON.

How is this possible to fix?
Easy. With hard work. We need to rework all of what have we done up till now, and create much more. Go out there, collect all books we can get hands on, take fresh images, contact people from Macedonia and outside who are willing to help, make the priests of our churches write about the life of their parishes. And keep things fresh - always. Just as the Church is always fresh. Keep in touch and inform each other about the happenings around us. Preserve the old material, because that will be history one day. Develop a sense for history, one of the things we do not have. It is easy to put Vergina stars on the web sites and forget about it. What do we really know about our history? Very little. Let's fix that with joining MON. As you know, every single idea is destined to die if there are no people to make it come true. If you are serious about your heritage and dignity, join us. We'll make so much difference.
Everything is possible. Once we make a number of MON members, the exchange of information will be established, linking between different sources will become better, and the exposure of our material to the world will be greater.

How behind are we?
Should we say... about 10 years? Almost all of the great Orthodox Churches have some meaning of similar connectivity. Russians have enormous web network with millions of information about Church's everyday life. Temples, art, documents, news, publishing. The same is with the Greeks and the American Orthodox Church. Even our neighbors Serbians have growing church network.
We should be able to bridge those 10 years easily. Only if we accept the need of MON.
Otherwise we will stay in an informational darkness.

How do I join MON and what after that?
Joining the Macedonian Orthodox Network is absolutely free. You just need to be serious person and a hard worker, to have an idea of what needs to be done. If you feel that you want and you are ready to join MON, just write an e-mail with your name, location, age and a link to the web site you eventually maintain. You will receive the PROGRAM of the MON. The members of MON will receive access to the MON Forum, for easy and fast communication and exchange of ideas and information.
